  7.     Hardly anyone was shocked last week when newspapers
  8. blossomed with reports that Elizabeth Taylor, 58, was "blooming
  9. again, like a rose" because of a 23-year-old boyfriend. The
  10. story was all a hoax: the so-called boyfriend -- an actor named
  11. Julian Lee Hobbs, a.k.a. Rory Emerald -- denied the connection
  12. to La Liz but was flattered by the link. The actress, who was in
  13. a California hospital since April, (she was released last week),
  14. has never met Emerald. But she does know something about
  15. diamonds.
